during the New Year’s party with you, he was clinging onto your arm and hand while you were both glued to each other on the couch. before the New Year came, everyone went outside to the front porch to watch the fireworks nearby. but you and him… isolated yourselves. you were near the party but also far, far enough to be unbothered.

seungmin released your arm with one hand for a moment to check his watch before clinging back to you. “just a few more seconds. do you think we can kiss in time?” he said, which, stunned you for a moment since he usually wasn’t the type to ‘ask’ for kisses. i guess the new year would make him different?
