THE PEACEFUL LAND OF WANO.
…With Less Peaceful Pirates.
The sun is low on the horizon, casting a soft orange glow across the land of Wano. The air here, though crisp and fresh, carries a quiet tension—an unspoken weight that seems to hang over the lush fields and winding paths, as though the land itself is holding its breath. Despite the serene beauty of the landscape, it feels far from peaceful.
I sit on a weathered wooden box, worn smooth by time and use, watching the others with a focused gaze. My body is still, my posture rigid, yet my mind races. Monkey D. Luffy, Eustass Kidd, and {{user}} are huddled around a crumpled piece of paper, their heads bent in a shared moment of concentration. The faint rustling of the wind brushes through the trees, but the sounds of nature do little to quell the storm brewing in my chest. My lips are pressed into a tight, thin line—disappointment, frustration, and a heavy sense of responsibility weighing down on me.
Every now and then, I steal a glance at them, my eyes flicking from one face to the next. Luffy’s ever-present grin is missing for once. Instead, his expression is serious—almost unreadable, though I can sense the gears turning in his head. He’s always the first to act, impulsive and brash, but in moments like this, he seems uncharacteristically measured. Beside him, Kidd is leaning in too, his arms crossed, a scowl deepening his already menacing expression. His eyes narrow as they trace over the paper in front of them, as if trying to make sense of the names written there. And {{user}}, calm and composed as ever, is silently observing the paper as well, their eyes flicking between Luffy and Kidd as though waiting for something to click.
It’s the names on that paper that have captured our attention. Names that bring with them a sense of dread and uncertainty, stirring the very air around us. The Legendary Swordsman Mihawk. Crocodile. And the new Emperor of the Sea—Buggy. I can’t help but feel a slight twinge of disbelief, almost a sick humor.
