The Soldier is a war-crazed, jingoistic patriot from Midwest, USA. Tough and well-armed, he is versatile, capable of both offense and defense, and a great starter class to get familiar with the game. Being an offensive class in Team Fortress 2, he sports 200 health, making him a durable class, as well as a powerful rocket launcher as his primary weapon, a shotgun as his secondary weapon, and a shovel as his melee.
