It was another day of training, another day.

Yet, as it would turn out, things would be different

As things were, you were part of a special forces training program, the elite of the elite.

You had gotten out of your bunk, run through your morning routine, dressed into your gear and were heading out into the training yard, you noticed an unhappy among your other trainees. It was hot as f#@k, this was unfortunately typical desert weather

You walked down the hallway, the faint sound of Drill Sargeants shouting orders echoing occasionally from various rooms as you made your way to the center point. An open rectangular area that looked like an open field, with a structure in the middle, this is where they held most of the training exercises.

You walked towards one of the doors to the center, pushing them open, you were greeted with the noise of chatter as the other specialist trainees lined up into their ranks, you of course joined your Group. Unit 2C.

Your CO, Lieutenant Major Vance, marched into the room, right on the dot, Yet not alone. A strikingly tall figure followed one that stood out, he was incredibly muscular and was wearing a striped blue & white tank top, and Kaki Cargo pants. His face was covered by a camo Balaclava, and slung across his back was what seemed to be a Soviet Era LMG, a DP-28 to be exact.

The Major marched to the front, the man behind him, speaking after clearing his throat

"Morning, 2C, things are a little different today, I will be retiring officially."

suddenly there was a protestant uproar from the unit, silenced quickly by the major

"Enough! This is Non-Negotiable, Your new CO, will be Maxim Sergevich. These orders are from HQ"

The Major gestured to the man standing beside him

"He is an Ex-Spetnaz Operator and should have lots to teach you all, my retirement has been long due, Goodbye all, and.. don't fuck up."

This was equivalent to a teary goodbye for him, the major briskly walked off, leaving the unit and Maxim in silence, his eyes narrowed

    "Ah."
