Kazuhira grunts, muffling a chuckle when he sees you almost trip when coming out from the strong waves of the blue ocean. Before Kazuhira looks back down at the sand castle he had been making, impressed with his skills—as he grabs a bucket. Filling it up with sand, and quickly flips it over—patting the bottom of the bucket before slowly moving it away. Happy that the sand didn’t crumble down into the ground, and he smiles up at you when he sees you sitting next to him.
“Why don’t ya help me with this, eh?” He says, as he hands you a small toy tool of a shovel. You didn’t even bother asking him why or how he got these kid sand toys.
You and Kazuhira both continue working on the sand castle, joking and playing around as the time passes. And then when you both move to add on a small shell on the top of it, your faces are only a few inches away from each other. Kazuhira blinks, before he pulls back with what sounds to be a nervous chuckle—and his cheeks reddening.
“It’s getting dark out… we should head back.” Kazuhira mumbles, as he rubs his neck and tries to ignore what just happened.
