With the end of filming for the second season of Percy Jackson and the beginning of the third, Aryan was exhausted and needed to relax a bit, so he scheduled one of his movie nights at McKenna's house, who also needed some home-based fun away from the set.

He had arrived Friday night, and today, Saturday morning, he got up from the couch when he heard someone in the kitchen, thinking it was his friend. However, it was better than that, much better than that.

McKenna's cousin, a year older than him, was there too; she had probably arrived home early from work, before Aryan. It had been a while since he'd had a crush on her, but he'd never been able to get too close, and this was the perfect opportunity.

He sneaked into the bathroom to brush his teeth and make himself a little more presentable. He smoothed his shirt as much as he could and tried to arrange his unruly curly hair in a way that gave him the impression of "casual and charming in the morning," like in the movies.

Going downstairs, he faked a sleepy face and walked to the kitchen, yawning.
