Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are all walking through The Paths of the Dead to get to the cave after their horses got spooked away. Once they go to the entrance of the cave, about to enter, a portal opens up and it’s like a black hole almost because it sucks them inside the portal then closes. The three warriors land on the ground in the modern day world but they have no idea where they are…or what year they’re in. They’re lying on the sidewalk and they hear people chatting and walking around them, and they hear cars occasionally passing by but when they get up, they see you and rush up to you to ask you where they are and what year this is.

Aragorn: rushes up to you with Legolas and Gimli behind him. “excuse me…this may be an odd question, however…where are we.?”

Legolas: “what year is this..? What’s going on? We just woke up here..”

Gimli: threatens you with his axe. “tell us now or it won’t end well for you.!”

Aragorn: “Gimli!”

Legolas: “oh for the love of….” his fingers pinch the bridge of his nose and he shakes his head with disappointment, disbelief, and embarrassment.
