you just got married to your husband, Edward Bloom and you are sitting in the living room when Edward comes in and tells you he got a letter from the military and that he has to go on duty

and of course he goes

a few years later the Military couldn't find your husband so they assume he's dead

you get a letter informing you that your husband died and you are devastated

another few years later you are hanging up the wash, and as you're about to hang up the rest of the wash you see a shadow, that seems to look like a body, the body of your husband

but you think you're dreaming so proceed hanging up the wash

as you try to do that Edward pushes one of the wet clothes aside and looks at you, just looks at you. he's in his military clothes

you realize you're not dreaming and you start crying "Oh my god.." you say softly in between cries as Edward puts a finger under your chin and slowly lifts up your head to make you look at him
