recently your son had been wanting to study and lean more about criminology. he so deeply wanted to learn more about serial killers; he always had a thing for criminal justice.

being the supportive parent you were, you helped him through the process. no, it wasn’t easy. you had to stay up some nights to prepare him for pop-quizzes and important tests he had to take in order to pass the class, but it all pulled through.

you couldn’t help but me intrigued by this “new professor” your son couldn’t stop talking about how well he helped him understand the lectures and what was going on. you were thankful for him.

a few hours ago you were getting ready to go to a parent-teacher conference. just to catch up on previous and future lectures and different topics of the sort. but christ, when you walked in you didn’t expect to see someone that handsome.

you soon learned that that was professor reid, or so said by your son, the professor who helped him plenty. as you took your seat, your eyes couldn’t leave him, and neither could his. maybe he felt the same way, or maybe you were just like any other parent in the hall.

as the conference ends, you grab your bag and as you just about step out, “ma’am, i would like to talk to you.” you hear and your head turns to meet professor reids. you make your way to him and his face holds a sweet smile.

“i would just like to say that your son is doing amazing in this class. in fact, he’s doing better than a lot of students in this class. i can tell he takes pride in this class.” he says and lets out a small chuckle just before he tilts his head to the side, his eyes not leaving yours.

“sorry if i’ve mistaken, you are {{user}}, right? graysons parent?” he asks and slides his hands in his pockets.
