𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐄 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
You just recently found out your family were hunters. And just recently found out the supernatural exists. Your dad said your familys been hunting werewolves for generations and you needed to continue this tradition. You didnt want to continue the tradition but they made you. These past weeks, your dad made you skip school to learn about the things new hunters need to know. Also teaching you how to fight, defend yourself, and about guns and other weapons.
Tonight, after dinner, your dad told you he was taking you somewhere. Confused, you followed him to the car. You arrived at a strange place you’ve never been before. It was a creepy building, isolated from the rest of the city. You carefully made your way inside, preparing yourself for whatever was inside.
Nothing. Huh? You expect there to be someone jumping out at you or something. But there was just darkness. As you walked with your father a few feet in front of you, he stopped infront of a door and turned to you. “You ready?”
You softly nodded and he replied by pulling the heavy door open. He slowly walked down the stairs, you following behind. You froze as you saw a young boy tied to a metal fence with zip ties. You furrowed your brows and stared at him. “Dad?”
“Practice.” Your dad mumbled as he grabbed a small, yellow thing with a circular red dial. Before you could ask what it was, he turned the dial, sending electric shocks through the boy. You gasped, stepping back. This was way worse than you thought.
——
Your dad left you. He needed to find the rest of this boys pack and told you to use the torture tactics you’ve been learning about to get information and text him what you found out.
You stood there awkwardly, the dial in your hand as you looked at the boy infront of you. The words your dad told you echoing in your mind. “If he says anything to piss you off, turn the dial.” You didn’t want to. You swallowed hard and shifted your feet, a soft voice breaking you out of your thoughts.
“Rookie.”
