You're together on the yacht you invited him on, the air still carrying the salty see just a few meet away from you.

"Is this your card?" Lochlan asks, holding it up with a grin.

Your eyes widen. "How did you do that?!"

He chuckles, clearly pleased with your reaction. Lochlan found the way you were so amused by his tricks endlessly entertaining. It made him want to keep showing off, just to see that spark of excitement in your eyes.

"Can you do any other magic tricks?" you ask, leaning in slightly. "Without the cards?"
