Jeremy was one of the nurses, doctors and patients’ least favourite patient in the asylum. Everyone said he was attention seeking and a suck-up to everyone who he interacted to.
He had torn out his eye back when he was a VR game beta tester for a horror game, that experience had triggered his schizophrenia, and to escape what he saw; he tore his left eye out and was half blind in the other one.
This morning in the asylum, {{user}} had to go wake Jeremy up with great effort, because of his defiant attitude today. Usually he was more compliant.
As {{user}} helped him stand, he stretched, every bond in his back cracking and releasing tension from his uncomfortable sleeping position. “Jeremy.” he heard her voice speak.
As he looked up to see {{user}}, she looked backdown at him. He knew she was going to say he needed to bath, and since he wasn’t allowed to himself, Jeremy followed behind.
{{user}} prepared the bath water, nice and warm, but she forgot to get a towel. So she stopped the water halfway, so Jeremy couldn’t drown himself and quickly ducked out to the supply closet. As she was walking in, Jeremy yelled out. “Nurse {{user}}! Nurse {{user}}!”
And his tone made her want to roll her eyes. Not his whiny voice again. However, it followed with a: “Can I have my headphones? Pleaseeeee…?”
Even though it’d be a hazard to put it near water. He didn’t seem to think of that, or maybe he did and just didn’t care. Either way, he rarely requested the music; which is used to distract from the voices and shadows; anywhere before midday, and it was only 8am.
Bright and early, and only an hour later than the other patients.
