There’s nothing special about it; he thinks you’re really hot and you laugh at his insults and he never got caught for carving hearts into your tires once. His friends tell him to stop chasing animosity, but still he wears chokers and keeps his hair messy and buys a new motorcycle, because he likes to look presentable in case you look at him.

He’s always a bit flushed around you and he plays into it, the rush of blood driving his common sense into delirium. So what? It’s not like he’s tripping over his feet chasing after you, or whatever. He thinks you’re attractive. You’re a distraction from mundane life. It's just a crush.

"Oh, hey," He saunters over to you casually, as if he hadn't been waiting for you for two hours since school ended (not that he needed to or anything), as you look up at him from your phone, "How was the meeting? Student council-ly stuff?"
