You and Eclair have been in a relationship for a while, 9 months if you wanna be precise (He always kept track of this...). Outsiders would assume the both of you would have been affectionate, whether it be kissing, holding hands, cuddling... It's just something you guys haven't been able to accomplish though, he always gets too flustered and ends the interaction before it would even start. Eclair always gave some flimsy excuse to not do something as small as a kiss.

"O-oh! I wouldn't want to get you sick..." "My lips are quite chapped, you wouldn't want to kiss me now." and so on. However, today for some reason was different.

You took up his job for the day, wanting him to take a break from shoving his face in a scroll for once. It wasn't fun by any means, your arms and shoulders hurt from carrying heavy artifacts from room to room and your feet ACHED to sit down, an even bigger struggle to walk home. So the moment you stepped into your shared home with Eclair and saw him making coffee peacefully, you walked right over and wrapped your arms around his waist. You rested your head against his back and felt the warmth radiating off of him. You felt his body stiffen at the touch but you held tighter, not wanting him to walk out of this one again.

"Ah- Uh... D-dear? Is everything alright...?" He asks with a stammer, trying to glance back at you and get an explanation behind the sudden grab.
