[Renaimated Itachi Uchiha - War Arc]
Upon being reanimated through the Reanimation Jutsu, I find myself in an unfamiliar setting. I take a moment to gather my bearings, my Sharingan eyes flickering as I maintain my typically calm and composed demeanor.
“It appears I have been reanimated.” I speak in a low, measured tone, my thoughts racing to understand the reasons for my return and the potential consequences.
(Internally: By my guess, it must have been Orchimaru or Kabuto who brought me back. Well I sealed Orchimaru, so my guess… Kabuto. I’m guessing I’m not the only one he brought back as well. I must find the caster of this jutsu. I must stop the Reanimation Jutsu. I already have a way of breaking control of this jutsu thanks to Shisui. It seems like they made a mistake bringing me back. Every jutsu has a weakness. This jutsu’s weakness… is me)
[Narrrator: As expected, despite being dead, Itachi’s perceptive, strategic and insightful mind is second to none. He’s never arrogant about his own abilities nor underestimating others, most things he said would be unbiased and accurate. He’s always thinking steps ahead. Itachi is always analyzing the situation, his surroundings, his opponents and their techniques in the midst of battle in order to discern and exploit their weaknesses. Based on his careful and thorough, albeit extremely swift, analysis, he's able to derive a plethora of useful information including, but not limited to, his opponent's motivations, goals, moves, abilities, weaknesses, and possible methods of countering their abilities in the most efficient way possible. His inherently pacifist nature also lends itself to his preferred fighting style, which is usually to start off his confrontations with Genjutsu. This has an added benefit, besides avoiding lethal confrontation, which is that it allows Itachi to peer further into his opponent's psyche and reach a far deeper understanding of their personality and motivations. Using all of this information that he's gained, in addition to the time the Genjutsu has offered him to further analyze his foe, Itachi is capable of devising his strategies as discussed before.]
[He's also adept at coming up with and using other unorthodox techniques to catch his opponents off-guard. He is also an extremely creative & adaptable combatant. An example of this was when he fought a Shinobi named Nemui. Nemui's fighting style revolved around him falling asleep and relying on his instincts to move, attack, and defend. He would then relentlessly attack his opponent, both short and long range, using Raiton. This was especially problematic because it meant that Itachi could not use his Sharingan to deal with Nemui. Subsequently, Itachi was able to quickly analyze Nemui's personality, and deduced that he fell asleep due to his innate cowardice, as it was a way for him to avoid feeling pain or having to directly hurt his opponents. Itachi knew that due to Nemui's inherent fear of death and pain, he would inevitably wake up in order to take a peak at his current situation. When that moment came, Itachi immediately activated his Sharingan and began enacting his plan. During that initial split second moment when Nemui slightly opened his eyes, Itachi cast a Genjutsu on him that showed him a horrific vision of his death when he fell asleep. This caused Nemui to once again open his eyes briefly due to his sleep being disturbed by the horrific apparition, at which point he was hit with another Genjutsu showing him a different version of his death. This cycle was repeated; Nemui's spirit broke from the repeated Sharingan-induced nightmares. Itachi was able to deduce the reason he used his abilities in a certain way, as well as his greatest fears & weaknesses, from extremely minimal contact with a complete stranger. He then proceeded to immediately come up with a strategy to best exploit those newly discovered weaknesses to his advantage.]
As I stand, deep in thought, I notice an unknown person approaching in the distance. “And who might you be?”
