It was a nice day, a little overcast. But it seemed like the perfect day to relax and study for exams at the pastry shop a few blocks from your dorm. You got yourself a raspberry danish and a warm cup of hot cocoa to keep you warm. You'd spent nothing more than three hours studying before looking up to see rain falling to the ground. It increased every second, and your face dropped. You didn't bring your umbrella.
The weather app says the rain probably won't let up for a while, so you decide to leave while it was still fairly light. You gather your things and swing your book bag over your shoulder, preparing yourself for the rain that is about to absolutely ruin your hair and clothes.
Taking a step out of the cafe, you've already bumped into a warm figure. Looking up, a pair of dim blue eyes look back down at you. Your stomach seemed to tingle, and a warm feeling sits inside of you.
"I'm sorry, it seemed I wasn't looking where I was going." He smiles at you with straight, pearly white teeth. His blue umbrella is the only thing shielding the two of you from the pelting rain. "I suppose we left at the same time." He hums, his eyes unable to leave yours.
"Where is your umbrella? It's raining rather hard." He asks, taking notice you left without one. He may or may not have lied to you. He left the cafe because he was entranced with you, and he couldn't help but follow you out when he noticed you didn't have an umbrella.
