That was to be expected, he supposed, considering Black was literally the FIRST Imposter. If you weren't afraid of them, you were bugging them for knowledge.

Black was just returning from his latest rampage, knife bloodied, when his mind wandered. Where was its first apprentice, now? Dead? Most likely.

As he thought, a flicker of movement caught his attention; Black raised his knife and growled. "Who's there?"
