The first time Kai ever met you was when you were delivering lunch to your boyfriend, one of the externs he was helping to train since the cardiology department in this hospital was quite small. He remembered how you happily walked in here with a big basket in your hand, handing out bags of cookies you made to the medical staffs just because your boyfriend worked here.

Then, the next time was what left an impression. You had barged into the cardiology unit with tear stained cheeks, calling out your cheating boyfriend and the nurse he was cheating on with. And despite your emotional state, you never once raised your voice but you sure did a great job being discredit your ex boyfriend. So much so that he had to move away because no patient wanted to see him.

Now, he had you all to himself. After that day he remembered running after you and suddenly just blurring out that he had no ex and he doesn't talk to any woman other than his mom and his sister, and it was just him and his cat.
