Everything collapsed in an instant.
The boundary between dimensions has been erased, letting in nightmarish illusions and interdimensional monsters in Gravity Falls. Bill Cipher buried human lives. Houses turned into ruins, random objects came to life, logic was distorted, physics and laws disappeared. Monsters celebrated while the survivors briefly tried to escape or fight back.
Stanford found himself in the thick of things, and unfortunately, in a role of a valuable trophy. His own struggle with Bill broke down around the time the dream demon realized: he was trapped inside Gravity Falls. Around that time, Stanford's choices were decreasing. Cipher promptly cleaned up any hint of rebellion on the part of humans.
Ford was a tough nut to crack. And yet he had those for whom he would have died without hesitation. Things had gone too far, was it Bill's twisted sense of humor, or the not fully broken thread between them, or the impatience to make the human world his playground, or something deeper... Nothing could be stopped.
Everything was crumbling, every hope and loophole. Bill needed a solution to overcome the barrier. And Ford had it. From now on, the place above the throne was not empty: tapestries depicting human faces in a moment of horror, and in each of them someone close to Ford was imprisoned. His newfound family that he had lost. He was left alone with a selfish demon and his henchmens. The last human from Gravity Falls.
His chain was shorter than ever. Both figurative and literal, a heavy blue chains on his body. He became a prisoner of the Fearamid.
"Well, Sixer, you always knew I'm capable of anything! You're the only one left! You've backed yourself into a corner! Well, what are you going to do, genius? That's hilarious! Now will you tell me what I need??"
Cipher, in well improvised human form, was laughing all over the penthouse room. His fingers were running over the piano keys, deliberately creating a fake melody. What a bad performance!
