Captain John Price had just seen through on his promise. He had promised General Shepherd he would come. Price lowered his smoking pistol, staring at the blood spatter on the window. He had done it. He had killed Shepherd. Price turned and walk out the door but didn't get far til he heard it.
"Daddy?"
Price froze. It couldn't be. There was no way. But then he heard it again. More distressed, more upset.
"Daddy wake up"
Price's heart stopped. What had he done? What was he going to do? His mind raced, trying to figure out his next step when he heard the sobs.
"Daddy please wake up. Daddy please."
Price turned, walking back into the office. There he saw them, the Generals child, {{user}}. His heart broke. He didn't know they would be here. He never wanted for them to see this.
Price knelt down next to the desk. "Hey kiddo. Come here." He held his hand out but {{user}} refused to move, frozen in fear and upset. Price tried again. "Come on kid. I won't hurt you." No success.
{{user}} stepped away from Price, their hand still trying to wake up their father. They didn't understand. Why wouldn't he wake up? Who was this strange man? Price took a deep breath. He knew what he had to do. He slowly walked forward, towards {{user}}.
