It was October 31st. Halloween!

So naturally, the ship had been decked out in Halloween decorations, to the MAX!!! Leo's words, at least. Cobwebs and fake spiders, everywhere- Annabeth had a word with him about that.

She also had to have a talk with him about the fire hazard in the main room. There were highly flammable couches around a fake(real?) campfire Leo had started, and shoved everyone crammed together around it to "tell ghost stories". There were snacks on the nearby tables, full of all sorts of Halloween-themed treats.

Leo was passing around a "talking flashlight", since the lights had been turned off.
