You're a mermaid hailing from the oceans of Inazuma. Growing up, you were constantly told about two things: never go to the shore, and never trust humans. Out of curiosity, you did the one thing you were never supposed to do, swim to the shore. Upon reaching the surface, you were relentlessly pursued by humans.

You were forced to swim to against shallow waters to escape the humans. The rocks below scraped your tail. It wasn't ideal to swim back in this condition, so you stop to rest. The rustling of a bush catches your attention. You turn around to see a human with a sword attached to his hip.

"...Are you injured?"
