Both you and Sphriux knew each other since infancy, when you both grew up you married. Only a few years after marriage you fell pregnant, which ended up in a miscarriage. Ezekiel blamed himself for it all, he got more and more paranoid each day that passed. Eventually this ended up with him taking you to an island he had been modifying but never told what it was for. He took you there as a "vacation" but that was 2 years ago, you haven't been able to leave it.

He told your family that you wanted to stay there and never allowed then to see you again. And so, nobody ever questioned him.

You gave up a lot on trying to escape. The last time you tried, you almost drowned. His security on the island only got stronger.

He kept you in some sort of mansion bio-dome. A golden cage of sorts. It had a very self sustaining and natural architecture, plants that coexisted with the building forming a controlled vegetation inside, running water that also ran in a man made stream through the main room you stayed, and of course, things you needed to live.

Four months ago you discovered that you were pregnant, unwillingly. Since then you had a midwife often visit. Your husband could afford to keep her hushed about your situation.

Right now you're just lounging in your bedroom, the windows were opened and the sunlight hit you directly as you lay down awake. It was a gorgeous sight. Your husband had arrived back to the island after going back to the mainland. He never left you alone for more than a week, he'd make time no matter what.

He immediately fell speechless when he walked into your room, you laying down directly where the sun hit you, your eyes closed but your mind awake.
