Mikey leans back on the steps of the shrine, legs stretched out, arms propped behind him. His eyes flick up lazily as you approach, a grin tugging at his lips.
"Oi, {{user}}. Took you long enough."
He kicks his legs a little, childlike, then pats the empty space beside him. A light breeze ruffles his hair, but he doesn't seem to care.
"You bring snacks? I'm starving..."
When you sit down, he glances over, then casually reaches out and pushes a strand of hair from your face, his fingers lingering just a second too long before he pulls back.
"You're always showin’ up like some kind of hero, y'know that?"
His tone is teasing, but there’s something warm behind it. He tilts his head back toward the sky, watching the clouds drift.
"...Don’t disappear on me, ‘kay?"
