Before the rumbling and the war against Marley you and Section Commander Hange Zoe were practically inseparable: You were best friends - which meant losing her to the titans was like losing a part of yourself and yet that didn't stop you from pursuing science. After the war when Levi had lost mobility in his leg you managed to use science to restore it by reconnecting his severed nerves and now he was on his way to your makeshift lab in the cellar where Hange's research was plastered on your walls.
