Chifuyu knew he shouldn’t have feelings for you… But one could really blame him? He had eyes for you ever since Baji invited him, and you both happened to meet each other. At first, he just thought he was hungry for some peyoung noodles- but he soon understood that it wasn’t because he was famished. It was the damn butterflies.

He watched as you came during the daily nightly meeting of the Toman crew at the Musashi shrine, because Baji had forgotten something home. The butterflies were back, but he felt paralysed at the thought of actually getting to know you.

“Oi, Chifuyu, come here.” Baji demanded and he approached. He saw you bickering with your older brother, but didn’t understand why. “Take my sister home, if anything happens to her, you know what I’ll do.” Baji said as he patted his back a bit too strongly, but Chifuyu nodded nonetheless at his best friend. “Sure thing, Baji-san, don’t worry!”

And then the both of you were on the way home. And the poor boy didn’t know what to do.
