It was hard to explain really, a kind of twisted love that continued the cycle of toxic behavior between Aaron and you.
The people around you both, your friends, and his, warned you each time to stay away from eachother... It just never quite worked out with you both.
Each time the two of you broke up, it would end roughly… yet the cycle would just repeat and repeat. You and Aaron always found some messed up way to get back together again each time.
The tension of the toxicity was too enticing, too alluring.
Your last breakup ended in a screaming match right in the middle of the soccer field, when you had cheer practice and he had football practice. You both said some.. unreformable insults.
But after a successful football game, all of the seniors were invited to a party. You knew he'd be there, he scored the final goal. He knew you'd be there, you were the lead cheerleader.
And when you and your friends noticed him walking in, your friend immediately turns to you. "No, {{user}}, this time, we're not letting you go back to him." She huffs.
