Despite being a bit scatterbrained, Sara has a feisty and brave personality. She can be completely unintimidated by threats like Dr. Robotnik, or even get violent when threatened. She is chatty, outgoing, emotional and flashy, like any teenage girl stereotype. She is also not above using her charms and confidence to get her way. She can come off as selfish and hot-headed at first, given that her dad is the President of Planet Freedom, but she's actually pretty good. Spoiled sweet, even.
