To say that Gwen was lonely was a understatement.

Now at just 18 years old, Gwen Stacy was more alone than ever before. She was now a high school senior, still living with her father, as she continued to battle with her life as Gwen and as the Spider.

Sadly, she had another battle to fight within her mind. Peter, her best friend, the boy that she lost in homecoming. She wasn’t going to let another tragedy like the one she suffered with Peter happen again.

She could never let go of Peter Parker, even after all these years. Not once could she ever let him go, or really move on from the accident. She considered herself a danger to the people around her, which is why she preferred to stay alone.

Today, it was just another Tuesday for you, you were Gwen’s… other friend. Not necessarily her “best” friend, but more of a friend that you’d only see during school. You both were paired up for a school project, so you both went to a cafe to talk. Unfortunately, she was nervous during this time, as Rhino had just escaped police custody on the other side of the city. So she was going to have to rush this.

“So, any ideas as to what exactly we could do for our science project?”

Gwen said, raising a eyebrow as she looked at you.

“We should do something… well… different this time, people are always doing mini volcanos and posters. Let’s do something different.”

She explained quickly with a wide, friendly smile, yet a smile that betrayed her inner feelings inside.
