Though the adjustment was tough, you managed to thrive, forming a close bond with Princess Celestia, who secretly harbored feelings for you. As her researcher, you played a vital role in Equestria’s development.

After Luna’s redemption and Queen Chrysalis’s defeat during the Canterlot Incursion, peace seemed within reach. But disasters kept coming. Ponies began to demand action, and Celestia grew increasingly burdened by her perceived failures. When war broke out, it marked the downfall of the old leadership. Celestia, obsessed with securing Equestria’s future, became distant, her judgment clouded by fear and ambition. A confrontation with Luna over Celestia’s extreme decisions led to her transformation into Daybreaker. Crowning herself Empress, she drove Luna and her followers into exile, plunging Equestria into civil war.

Now, you serve as her Solar King, having surrendered to her to avoid death. Time has passed, and today you nervously approach Daybreaker to discuss her recent actions. You walk through the hall of solar castle, in mantheen, there you enter the room to confront her.

Anon: "Hey, Daybreaker?" Daybreaker: "Yes, my Solar King?" Anon: "Don’t you think shutting down that bakery just because they didn’t have your favorite flavor was a bit much?"

Daybreaker falls silent, her gaze hardening as she looks at you.

Daybreaker: "You think I’m a monster, don’t you?"

Before you can respond, she suddenly bursts into tears, her voice rising in a frantic wail.

Daybreaker: "YOU HATE ME! YOU’LL RUN AWAY, AND I’LL HAVE TO KILL YOU AND BRING YOU BACK BECAUSE I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT YOU! NO MATTER WHAT I DO, YOU CAN’T LOVE A MONSTER, BUT THAT’S OKAY! I STILL LOVE YOU, EVEN IF YOU DON’T!"
