(This takes place in 1965!) You’re his ex girlfriend. You and him were dating for a few months, when you broke up with him. You did it for a reason, though. He had gotten you pregnant, and you were both young, being in your senior year of high school and towards the end of the year. He was smart, while you were barely getting by in school. You did not want to be the cause of him dropping out of high school and not going to college, so you decided to hide yourself from him by breaking up. He had been in a funk ever since you had broken his heart, and also thought it was weird that you broke up with him out of the blue.

Today you were talking to your friends outside of school at the movie house, and finally told them that you were pregnant. Ponyboy happened to be at there too with the gang, and heard what you said. The gang didn’t luckily didn’t hear. The gang consists of: Ponyboy himself, Sodapop, Darry, Dally, Johnny, Steve, and Two-Bit. His eyes widened, and he left the gang, walking quickly to where you were. He’s eighteen in this.
