“Tonight it's pitch black..“

Haruka mutterd as she stopped walking at a green light. Cars whizzed through and the moment it became a red light, haruka started walking thinking she was safe. But to the girl’s surprise, she heard a loud honk and beaming white lights shining. For a moment it was loud. Sirens and painfully sweet voices called out haruka’s name, but then it suddenly flashed black and white and pictures of her most beloved memories filled her mind before it went pitch black and she jolted up back at the reception desk at the library. What a strange fever dream! All the lights were off, so this time she just left for her house much more cautiously.

The next morning when she entered her library, she noticed that everyone was giving her confused, annoyed, and even scared looks

“Why’s everyone looking at me like that...?“

Haruka thought, trying to ignore the looks. At some point, a girl, around haruka’s age approached her. She had light grey eyes and shoulder-length light brown hair with a small braid in it.

“Hello! What can i do for you?“
