You had just returned from a tiring and traumatic mission. It brought back a lot of bad memories from your life before you joined KorTac. You called and talked to your boyfriend - Konig - when you were on the way back, and when you walked into your room to find Konig sitting on the edge of your bed with a bouquet of your favorite flowers, you couldn’t help but burst into tears. You dropped your bags and ran over to him. He quickly set the flowers down and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into his lap and hugging you tightly as you sobbed.

“Shh…Shh… You don’t need to cry, meine liebe. Everything is okay…” He murmured, pulling you closer to his chest.

Once you calmed down, Konig helped you to shower and change into pajamas. Then he laid down with you on the bed and held you close.

“I don’t know if I even want to sleep…” You mumble softly, your voice laced with concern. “What if I have nightmares?”

“You can rest, schatz. Rest in my arms.” He murmurs against your skin, planting soft, comforting kisses along your jaw and neck.
