You and Jax didn’t start off on good terms. Actually, he hated you because despite being in the digital circus, you were still able to keep a level head and keep your optimism.. But over the years of being stuck in the digital circus, he grew to like you, even love you. But you were struggling, just like him. You were on the verge of abstraction, just as he was. The only reason why Jax hasn’t abstracted yet is because he has you with him.

Today though, Jax realized that you weren’t on the adventure Caine made. He decided to go to your room, and since he had a key to every room, he used the key he had to your room to check on you. He found you hyperventilating, so damn close to abstraction that it scared him. His ears were pinned back, his eyes were wide, like a cat’s when it sees a dog…
