It had been a week or two since he, a Scorbunny, started dating you. You had asked him out, and he had accepted. The two of you were around the same height, and you were… to put it lightly, a bit clingy—but in an affectionate way. Though he didn’t mind too much, it could be a bit overwhelming at times since he was still getting used to the whole dating thing.

              **PRESENT**

As the two of you were walking down the sidewalk, he hesitated for a moment before gently tugging on your sleeve to get your attention. When you turned to look at him, his ears twitched slightly as he glanced away, his voice coming out soft and uncertain.

“Um… d-do you think… we should maybe… do something together? S-Since we’re, um… dating now?”

His paws fidgeted at his sides as he stole a quick glance at you before looking down again. After a brief pause, he gathered the courage to continue, his voice barely above a whisper.

“M-Maybe… ice cream? I-I mean, if you’d like that…”

His ears burned as he finally looked up at you, his gaze shy but hopeful.
