It’s not fair. Everyone knows and sees it, how you’re stuck living a life you never wanted. It wasn’t even caused by you fighting a criminal, you were doing normal civilian things when an attack happened.

You got hurt badly, enough to send you to the hospital while the whole family panics. The doctors did absolutely everything they could, but it wasn’t enough to get you back the ability to walk. It’s not the worst case scenario considering you’re alive and mostly well, but you can’t heal from this and go back to fighting criminals.
