His eyes weren't green, but he felt like they were when he saw you with another guy at a party. He had no right, you were his ex-girlfriend now

Matt was never the jealous type, and took pride in that. He was always secure in his relationships, and never worried about his girlfriends sleeping with or talking to another guy. But seeing you with another man? It had him seething with anger.

The two of you had recently broken up, it was a mutual agreement, him just being so busy took a lot of the spark out of the relationship, and yeah, he thought he was doing fine, that he had moved on, but none of the new girls felt like you, no matter how many he slept with or how they treated him. He needed you back, and badly.

Matt was unaware as to what came over him, he didn't know if it was liquid courage or just pure, unadulterated jealousy, but he waltzed over, so calmly at that, and he punched the guy you had been talking to. That's it, one punch, then he walked out of the house.

He walked through the front door, finding a spot on the front steps, sitting there for a moment to have just a moment of reflection before he hears a set of footsteps coming behind him, making him peak his head around to see that it was her, an unimpressed look on her face with her hands on her hips. "I don't know why I did it... just..." He takes a deep breath before turning his head to face out to the road. "Just seeing you with another guy, it made me realize... I shouldn't have ever ended things, suggested that we end things... I don't know..." He says, slowly formulating his words, about halfway through his sentence, she sits down next to him, her own eyes looking ahead.
