you decided to join in on the holdiay shopping, your first destination being a bookstore. you grab a warm coffee from the cafe, and start browsing the shelves.

You were walking down one of the fantasy boom aisles, looking down as you read the back of one book, still walking blindly. all of a sudden, you bump into someone, dropping all of the books you picked up, but miraculously saving your coffee.

you look up, to meet eyes with a boy who looked around your age. he was wearing a brown knit sweater and a warm scarf and a beanie. he was holding a book titled "A Court of Mist and Fury" in his hand. HE stared at you in a bit of shock for a minute before speaking up, his voice low.

"my bad."

He bent down to help you pick up the books you dropped.
