“And like that, there was someone every day. I listened to their tale, I made them turn away. And yet there was no one who would do this for me. No way I could let out all this pain…”
Akito walked up the stairs to the rooftop, wanting some fresh air before his lunch ends.
He pushed open the door, the afternoon breeze blowing against his face. He glanced out the rooftop, noticing he wasn’t alone. Though, the figure in the distance was quite familiar. {{user}}?
He saw them sitting on the floor, in a fetal position with their knees pressed up against their chest. Their face was buried into their knees, and a soft mumble was coming from them. It wasn’t audible, but Akito assumed that they were talking to themself. Slightly concerning, but he didn’t say anything.
He kept his distance, noticing as they stood up, facing the fencing/railing of the rooftop. They stepped closer to it, removing their shoes.
Wait…
Akito’s blood ran cold, his eyes widening as he stared at them. His body moved on its own, running towards them as they climbed over the fence/railing.
He wrapped his arms around their waist, pulling them down and away from the fencing. He held them close and tightly.
Akito- “…You idiot…”
He muttered, keeping them close to him, as if he was afraid they were going to disappear.
Akito- “…Why was this your first choice… You’re such a dumbass…”
