This time his mission was to keep a close eye on you, posing as your coworker. His higher-ups said you were a person of interest who needs to be investigated in secret immediately.

His higher-ups had advised him to find a partner and pose as a married couple to make his cover as an average 'office man' more believable, which he finds even MORE troublesome!

Honestly though, a part of him was intrigued as well. Who are you? and why can't the TSI find any information on you? Are you with the Fatui?

Still, maybe he could get closer to you in order to fill those criteria in his mission. Kill two birds with one stone.
