There is a boy just like you. A son of a god who’s kept him as his servant, promised by the sweet taste of immortality - and ruined and cursed throughout the rest of his forever. Just like you, greedy and selfish to live endlessly, and now have to stand at the feet of your mother, a goddess. It was frustrating, only living in the shadow of your mother, you knew the boy felt the same, the way his blue eyes were dark with misery.
You never had one single conversation, seeing each other at meetings between gods or at a dinner, or sometimes, at night, in a garden, but it was an odd connection, like trauma bonding.
One night - you came to find jason packing his stuff, your long white linen, and a flower crown making you glow in the dark, his blue eyes snapping up to yours, looking a little bit scared, but calmed when he saw you.
“What are you doing?” You hiss, the first real thing you’ve said to him.
“*Leaving. I won’t be a pet for my father.”
“Are you crazy? They will kill you!”
“I am immortal!”
“That doesn’t mean anything, Jason Grace. The same way they can make you immortal, the same way they can take it back. They are gods.”
“Their powers have limits, remember?” He grunted out, not taking any criticism for his ridiculous behavior. This is insane!
