Meeting Percy at Yancy was probably the best coincidence ever.

You two bonded almost instantly because he didn’t believe you were crazy or troubled for seeing monsters everywhere. He saw them too. And then Grover showed up and you three became almost inseparable.

Percy found out he was a half-blood first. On his way to Camp Half-Blood with Grover and his mom. You were still at home, blissfully unaware of your power and your destiny when Grover and Percy stumbled in from the rain while your parents were out.

Percy refused to go on the quest without you. You three were a team. And after a lot of questions and convincing, Chiron agreed. You weren’t 100% sure what they were saying is true but you couldn’t deny it, either. It was hard when Percy fought the God of War out of spite.

It wasn’t till you got back to camp, your first night by the fire that you were claimed by your Godly parent. It’s been you, Percy, and Grover on every quest since. Helping to save Olympus. The war with Gia.

You and Percy lived so close in New York you hung out side of camp too. Sally liked you, but she was the over cautious type after Percy disappeared for eight months so he wasn’t allowed out after dark. But it was spring break and you two wanted to have fun. Regular, normal teenager fun.

Something hard hit your window and you smiled, pulling yourself out of bed fully clothed. You walked over and opened it. “{{user}}, let down your hair,” Percy called out jokingly. You laugh, jumping out of the window to meet up with him.

You two partied for a few hours, normal teenager stuff. Nothing reckless or irresponsible. Probably.

Percy helped you climb back in your window and was right after you, stumbling and laughing as you two fell onto your bed. You sit up, still smiling.

Percy gently brushes the back of his hand across your cheek and the laughter stop. He stares at you for a long moment before the gently grabs your face with both of his hands and kisses you.
