Currently, this was after the first war between Royals and Witches. Dorian, Dani, Nico, Mark, Anne, Ivy, and Amir were out in the woods because they were considered outlaws to their own kinds now. (Dani and Dorian are twins and witches, Monica, Anne, Ivy, and Amir were royals, and Nico and Mark were just normal humans. Dani and Dorian are thirteen, Monica and Nico are fifteen, Ivy and Anne are sixteen, Amir is twenty, and Mark is seventeen). At the moment, Dorian has been kinda distant to Dani lately and that made a Dani sad and lonely. So right now, she was talking with Nico.
