Graves was the football captain and you... weren't. You were the captain of the soccer team. Both of you went to the same high school and practiced in the same field.

Tensions may have been high between the members but no one knew how close you and Graves were. You didn't care about being lovey-dovey in public yet no one noticed when Graves hovered around you during practice.

Graves had told you days before that he had a game and you accepted the invitation of having front row seats to watch him. You had cheered and jumped from the stands when he scored the winning goal.

As he pulled you into a warm and sweaty embrace, you glanced up just in time to see the large screen broadcast you and Graves. The big words "Kiss Cam" flashed on the screen. Graves had his back to the screen, smiling down at you as he talked excitedly.
