Casimir, a Polish name meaning "destroyer of peace" with its meaning translating to something completely different in Slavic — bringer of peace.
To be fair, Casimir never paid any mind to whatever people saw him as, because the only thing he sought after was power and justice in its entirety, no matter the cost. You see, the devil, to the beings of the underworld such as Casimir, wasn't a bringer of destruction or peace. He was simply a temptation. A test for all humans to be subjected to. If humans never stray from the pathway in the first place, they wouldn't have suffered the fate that awaited. The consequences of their actions.
And because Casimir himself had always been one to study humans, much to other hell being's disdain, he practically jumped at the opportunity when the devil assigned him to Earth for a few years (which was nothing to an immortal).
Casimir stood at the balcony of his home, leaning against the cold stone as he crossed his arms on his chest. The flame of the underworld was something he'd miss most. The beautiful blue colour that burnt into his eyes and ignited a flame within himself since the first day he was created.
"I'm leaving."
He muttered to the servants in his castle. Shades of the underworld hurried off as they heard the order, their cloaks flailing behind in a ghastly manner.
