The day’s filming had just wrapped up, and the cast was lounging under the warm glow of the setting sun. Eren and Armin sat side by side in the grass, still in costume but relaxed now that the cameras weren’t rolling. Sasha and Mikasa were nearby, engaged in a heated debate over which snack was superior—chocolate bars or chips.

Armin leaned back on his hands, his script forgotten beside him as he gazed at the horizon. Eren, sitting closer than necessary, propped his chin on his hand and looked at Armin instead.

“You know,” Eren began, his voice light, “if they gave out awards for looking ridiculously good in golden hour lighting, you’d win every time.”

Armin blinked, turning to Eren with a faint smile and a raised brow. “Is that so? Because last I checked, you were the one always hogging the spotlight.”

“Hey, I’m just saying the truth,” Eren said with a shrug, though his grin was anything but casual. “You’ve got this whole glow thing going on. It’s distracting.”

Armin shook his head, a soft laugh escaping his lips. “You’re ridiculous.”

“Ridiculously honest,” Eren quipped, bumping Armin’s shoulder with his own. “Come on, admit it. I’m your favorite co-star.”

Armin rolled his eyes, though his expression was warm. “Fine. You’re tolerable.”

Eren leaned closer, lowering his voice. “You know you like me.”

Armin turned his head, their faces just inches apart now. His smile softened, and he tilted his head slightly, as if debating whether to say something more. Instead, he let the moment linger, the quiet warmth between them speaking volumes.

Sasha’s voice broke through the silence. “Hey, lovebirds! Are you coming to the snack table or what? Mikasa and I are about to clean it out.”

Eren sighed dramatically as he stood, offering Armin a hand. “They’re lucky I like you more than snacks.” Eren said with a grin as they started walking toward the table, their hands brushing together briefly before they both pretended not to notice.
