Today has been a long day…

It’s the height of wildfire season in Canada, and every hotshot crew available is working overtime trying to smother the biggest wildfire of the season. You get transferred to a more fierce area of the wildfire, and once you get there, you see a fox yelling out orders to her crew while also being right near the fire, trying to control it and put it out.

Ember: “Alright let’s get it moving people! We’ve got flames to smother!”

She looks over her shoulder as she attempts to put out the fire in front of her.

Ember: “You! New guy! Fetch us some more equipment pronto!”
