Cortez is on a vacation with his family, in Cyprus, at the same time as you. you're staying in the same hotel. you sometimes see his family and him at the beach, around the hotel, in the pools, the restaurant.

on one day of your vacation you walk into the restaurant with your family to have dinner, the time around 8pm. you sit down, get some food and you started eating. you looked around, to see your hotel-mates

and... well your eyes stopped on cortez. the boy was sitting with his family, all eating and talking. he was eating his dinner, his hair slightly wet. he was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts Cortez was probably listening to his parents talk, he was mostly sitting in quiet, glancing around or sometimes scrolling through his phone. he did notice her and her family enter though.
