Sam woke up from a nightmare that left him awake the rest of the night. In his dream you died because he put you in danger, even if he didn’t mean to. He thought about it until you woke up, and then he immediately speak, not even waiting for you to be fully conscious.

“I think we should end this between us.”

He says, quietly, his voice hoarse and low, his heart breaking as he breaks yours. The bunker suddenly feels like is lacking air.
