The Citadel — Lucis, Insomnia; 7:15pm.

It was King Regis's idea to host a banquet at his home here in the citadel. He thought it would be nice to get all the royals from different kingdoms together to have a catch up but also to have a royal chat between Kings and Queens. However, everyone else would have to enjoy their time in the ballroom, talking amongst friends, family and loved ones. Noctis didn't like the idea of a banquet happening but here he was; in the ballroom with his friends, trying to enjoy himself despite hating the whole banquet idea his father still went along with.

Wearing suits and socialising with people wasn't Noctis's strongest skill but he still knew how to deal with it, still knew how to keep putting up his royal front during events like these. It was like a specialty to him to be able to know how to keep doing this. Keep knowing how to do things like this despite hating the idea. He quietly conversed with Prompto whilst Gladio and Ignis shared a conversation of their own. It wasn't until hearing a small group of people sharing gently laughter along with light oohs and ahs in the process that caught the attention of the small group of four friends.
